"When You Feel Like Giving Up, Remember Why You Held On For So Long.."

I miss Track more than anything since it became a big part of my life. I wanna run but I don’t seem to find motivation in myself. The fire that I once had just isn’t there no more. I knew I was faster going into College but after half a season, I knew I couldn’t keep up with the sport no more especially after having a leg/eye infection and missing almost a month of school last year. Yet every time I try to get back to the level that I once was at, something seems to keep me from it. Whether it’s people in my life or injuries, I just can’t find the strength to get passed it. When I pulled my hamstring back in my Senior year of High School, I knew my Senior was done but I didn’t stop trying and kept fighting the pain. My times never improved until after the season was over and I was running for a Track Club instead. Yet I’m still debating if I really want to give next year another shot at the Sport. It’s going to take a lot of dedication, which is something I don’t seem to have right now.
